LEGO 2K Drive appears to be a brand-new game set in the LEGO franchise, and it seems to be another attempt to recreate the success of the Mario Kart brand.
The leaked details for the game were shared online, along with screenshots from the game that appear to confirm its authenticity.
The leaked information regarding LEGO 2K Drive suggests that it is a player versus player (PVP) multiplayer game that takes inspiration from the popular game Mario Kart. Unlike previous LEGO racing games, this game offers various levels that can be completed in 2 to 5-minute races, including lap races and sprint races, with a range of terrain types such as on-road, off-road, and water. Additionally, the vehicles used in the game will change automatically depending on the terrain being raced on.
To make the gameplay more exciting, the game includes different items and power-ups that players can use to gain an advantage over their opponents. These power-ups include Jumping, Mines, Teleport, Ghost, Homing Missiles, EMP, Food Blaster, Web Crasher, and Brick Wheels.
Moreover, players will be able to create their custom vehicles, similar to other LEGO racing games. This customization feature adds a level of excitement to the game, allowing players to tailor their vehicles to their preferred style of gameplay.
