According to a new estimate from Sensor Tower, Pokémon Unite has received over 30 million downloads on Smartphones since its debut a week ago.
The report compares Pokémon Unite’s release to other mobile games such as League of Legends: Wild Rift and Brawl Stars and concludes that it is one of the fastest-growing MOBAs in terms of downloads, at least on Smartphones.
Pokémon Unite made its debut on Nintendo Switch. It was followed by a release on Smartphones earlier in September. It is a free-to-play MOBA with microtransactions. You can either grind for the new Pokémon or purchase them using the in-game currency.
Pokémon Unite’s developers recently released an update on the Nintendo Switch version’s downloads, stating that it has been downloaded 9 million times so far. While mobile is a larger platform in terms of userbase, it is still a significant success for the game thus far.
