Nintendo has announced a new update for Splatoon 2 on September 29th, which will bring the game up to version 5.5.0.
The patch notes for Splatoon 2 version 5.5.0 mostly highlight balancing tweaks and bug fixes. They are listed on the game’s Japanese website. Bug fixes, gameplay enhancements, and other improvements are among the updates. Please bear in mind that these patch notes are translated from Japanese, thus the weapon names may differ.
