Castlevania Advance Collection has been rated by the ESRB for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One. It has been revealed that there would be four games in the collection.
The Australian Classification Board’s rating was the first to release information about this collection. It was later certified in Taiwan and then updated with box art and the game list.
The ESRB has now rated the collection as well. What they had to say about it is as follows.
This is a collection of four classic Castlevania games in which players battle monsters and attempt to overthrow Dracula and his minions. From a side-scrolling perspective, players traverse platform environments and use whips, boomerang-like blades, and grenades to kill fantastical creatures (e.g., vampires, demons, harpies, ghouls). Several enemies emit splatters of blood when injured or killed, and some levels/environments contain larger depictions of blood: tears/pools coming from a statue; a bat crushed in a giant’s hand; a figure impaled on a stake. A handful of small female demons/monsters are depicted topless. The word “bastard” appears in the dialogue.
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow, Dracula X, and Circle of the Moon are the four leaked games. Three of them were published for the Nintendo Gameboy Advance, hence the collection’s name. They are expected to be announced today in a Nintendo Direct.
