The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has leaked online, and pirated copies of the game are now available for download.
Previously, we reported that the game might have leaked ahead of its release date. Images of the collector’s edition of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom had surfaced online. This appears to be true, as the entire game has now been dumped and can be downloaded online.
Of course, we will not link to the pirated copies here, but it’s worth noting that with the game out in the wild and nearly anyone with an internet connection and a decent PC able to emulate it, spoilers regarding the game’s story and locations may be shared online. We have also verified that the game is indeed available for download, and as we reported earlier, the file size seems to match, with the download registering at slightly over 16 GB.
If you want to enjoy the game without spoilers, it’s time to be cautious on social media, as spoilers will likely start appearing there. YouTube videos, in particular, can be risky to watch now, as they are usually the first to feature game footage. Nintendo may issue DMCA takedowns for such videos, but they can only remove so many.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to Breath of the Wild, one of the best-selling games on the Nintendo Switch. It is currently set to launch on May 12.
